ALL TRACKS HAVE BEEN RECENTLY REMASTERED AND MIXED FROM THE ORIGINAL MASTER TAPES. INCLUDES AN ILLUSTRATED BOOK WITH UNSEEN PHOTOGRAPHS AND A NEW ESSAY. Originally released in November 1971, the album was the band's first release and featured a continuous piece of music divided into 13 tracks. This impressive science fiction-inspired concept work, interpreted as a commentary on the nuclear arms race, was the band's debut album and was originally released in Germany, the country where the British group was formed and based, achieving commercial success and building Nektar's following. This new box set includes a complete remaster of the original stereo mix of the album (from the original master tapes), the two tracks from the single "Do You Believe in Magic" released in April 1972, as well as new 5.1 surround and stereo mixes by Ben Wiseman and a new remaster of "The Boston Tapes" - the recordings made by the band in the United States in 1970 for a shelved album before they signed with Bellaphon Records in Germany in 1971. Also included is the complete "official bootleg" recording of a concert in Darmstadt, Germany, in November 1971, presented on two CDs. Finally, the box set includes a region-free Blu-ray disc with the new 5.1 and stereo remixes of the album, as well as bonus video footage from the promotional film "Good Day" made in 1971, never before seen in its entirety.
