Before daylight

Description

Neal Black is certainly one of the most original artists on the current blues scene, because while his guitar playing may bring to mind Chris Rea or Peter Green, his lyrics are clearly in the vein of Bukowski. His rough, husky voice gives full meaning to his incisive and poetic lyrics, and his dark, ironic, and disillusioned world is truly that of the blues. With "Before Daylight," which celebrates 20 years of collaboration with Dixiefrog, he delivers one of his finest albums here, backed by top-notch musicians such as Mike Lattrell and Kris Jefferson (former Popa Chubby musicians) and our own national Bako Mikaelian on harmonica. He will soon be in concert in France and in Paris at the end of March on the stage of the Méridien hotel. An artist not to be missed under any circumstances!
