Le Tao

Description

Sitting under the porch of the temple clinging to the cliffside, in the heart of the Wudang mountains, the young Taoist monk contemplates nature. His attention is drawn to the murmur of the waterfall nestled in the bamboo forest. The breath of the wind whistles through the treetops before rushing into a dizzying gorge. In search of the original Tao, in perfect harmony with nature, the novice perceives for a moment the balance of the complementary opposing forces of Yin and Yang. This musical program will take you deep into the mountains, to the sources of the Tao, to practice various forms of meditation specific to the Taoist tradition. Traditional Chinese instruments, the Guzheng (harp), the Ehru (violin), the Dizi (flute), accompanied by the sounds of nature and the softness of synthesizer pads, create a soundscape conducive to meditation in the spirit of the Dao De Jing, a millennia-old source of well-being and inner peace.
