La Belle au bois dormant

Description

Natalie Dessay tells us the story of the ballet Sleeping Beauty: magical!
A fairy-tale album to discover Tchaikovsky's ballet and savor once again the wonderful story of Sleeping Beauty! Read by Natalie Dessay, the text by Pierre Coran recounts with poetry a great classic of ballet in a narrative faithful to Perrault's tale, like Giselle, Swan Lake, or The Nutcracker. The musicality of the text combined with Natalie Dessay's enchanting and clear voice allows us to discover the ballet by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, an essential composer of Russian romanticism. This ballet continues to captivate young and old alike with its lyricism and the beauty of its melodies played here by a symphonic orchestra. The Dance of the Marquises, The Lullaby of the Fairy Candide, The Farandole, or The Waltz of the Beauty carry us away in music into one of the most beautiful fairy tales.
