Endowed with a sense of sound construction and a technical mastery in the studio not seen in a French producer since DJ Mehdi, Myth Syzer began preparing his first album in early 2017. The hit "Le Code" showcases his talents on the mic and confirms his ability to go beyond functional beatmaking. Once this track was released, Syzer started his long-format project from scratch: he decided to sing on all the tracks and invite rappers and vocalists. "Bisous" is a fluid and coherent suite of 13 tracks that lazily navigates between laid-back Atlanta trap, soul/R&B swirls, and tender 80s pop. But while the album is likely to charm fans of Future as much as those of Dilla or Sade, it’s mainly because it contains nothing but hits.
