Mystery
Description
In 1988, an employee of Noise Records went independent and founded TRC (The Record Company). Besides Battlefield (EP "We Came To Fight"), the Dirty Strangers (featuring members of the Rolling Stones) and the Spanish hard rock band Helpless, there was this strange record with a futuristic eye on the cover: MYSTERY. Upon its release in 1988, the LP already polarized mercilessly. While the German Metal Hammer had to settle for three points and a somewhat helpless review, the English Kerrang scored a rating of four Ks and statements like "What we have here is the most interesting progressive crossover thrash I've heard in a long time." In retrospect, however, it is clear that the world was not ready for this album in 1988! Listening to Mystery's highly idiosyncratic and certainly also unique tracks, one can already assume that no young heavy metal fans were at work here, wandering in the footsteps of their idols. The songs are full of ideas that most metal musicians would never have had in this form. And this observation has always given rise to the suspicion that professional musicians from another genre were commissioned to write and record a heavy metal album here - of course, in keeping with their status, using stage names like The Lion or Mike Battista. This is exactly what turned out to be the case after years of research and is now revealed for the FIRST TIME. Consequently, the record should also become a coveted item for another target group (Krautrock, 70s, Deutschrock)...Buy Mystery at the best price
