PSYCHE GEMS

Description

The first LP "Psyche Gems," a collaborative musical venture sparked by an impromptu jam session on Instagram in 2021, is set to hypnotize audiences. Created by JUICEBOX, a versatile artist known for his roles as a singer, songwriter, rapper, and half of the renowned group Figmore (with 10.4 Rog), "Psyche Gems" was born from JUICEBOX's admiration for the psych-pop band Gold by Simen Hallset. After reaching out to Simen, they quickly connected with Henrik Norbakk, the other half of Myeye, thus igniting the genesis of the collaborative project. An Instagram jam session in 2021 sonically birthed the LP "Psyche Gems." Buttery vocals meet funky and soulful rhythms, meticulously recorded live, then chopped and repurposed to create an experience that transcends sound definition. From vibrant, head-nodding energy to lush rhythms harmoniously fused with an unmatched vocal performance, "Psyche Gems" captures the essence of the past and present, offering a kaleidoscopic snapshot of life reflected through timeless grooves. The album's distinctive sound is characterized by meticulous layering, where each element is carefully played, chopped, looped, and mixed to achieve sonic perfection. United by their shared passion for old soul and jazz records, 90s and 2000s hip hop, indie lo-fi, and psychedelic music, JUICEBOX and Myeye seamlessly blend their diverse influences to create a musical experience that resonates deeply with listeners.
