Mungo's Hi Fi return with their new vocal project Past And Present. Past And Present is unique for Mungo's as it is dedicated to the Rub A Dub reggae style that emerged in the late 70s and early 80s in Jamaica. The record draws its roots from both the past and the present. In 2021, Mungo's reacted to the pandemic with the dub project Antidote, an album reflecting on wide open spaces and nature. As the world has re-opened, Past And Present celebrates the return of verbal communication and dancing to hypnotic basslines, featuring original vocals from veteran and emerging microphone talent.
