You've Got Mail

After releasing the soundtrack of the cult romantic comedy "Sleepless in Seattle" on vinyl, it was unthinkable not to also release that of "You've Got Mail"! After all, both films share the same screenwriter/director (Nora Ephron), the same actors (Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan), and even a fairly similar plot, with a little nod to the corner shop (except this time, instead of a radio show, it's an online discussion forum that brings the two lovebirds together, with hilarious and cheesy messaging graphics). But above all, both films feature exceptional soundtracks; as in "Sleepless in Seattle", Jimmy Durante delivers the standout track ("You Made Me Love You"), but "You've Got Mail" also includes three songs by Harry Nilsson and tracks by Carole King, Stevie Wonder, Bobby Darin, Roy Orbison and many others, with a nod to the more contemporary scene with Sinead O'Connor and the Cranberries. Our edition includes an inner sleeve containing a ruby disc... the iconic soundtrack of an iconic film!
