This compilation marks the first and only collaboration between Cherry Red Records and On-U Sound, with Adrian Sherwood at the helm. It brings together twelve unreleased tracks illustrating the vibrancy of the British underground between post-punk, experimental dub, and futuristic reggae. The album extends the Jamaican legacy through avant-garde productions blending handcrafted electronics, hypnotic rhythms, and industrial atmospheres. Highlights include Afghani Dub by The Mothmen, a mystical journey led by musicians connected to The Durutti Column and Simply Red. It also features the radical performances of Judy Nylon, the cosmic experiments of Sun Ra Arkestra, as well as New Age Steppers and Creation Rebel accompanied by Prince Far I. Together, they create a mystical, hybrid, and visionary sonic experience.
