OFK is a semi-fictional supergroup of musician friends living in Los Angeles (the idea of creative director Teddy Dief and perhaps some IRL experiences), working together to create some of the smoothest indie pop tracks this side of the West Coast...
...and iam8bit is proud to present these very tracks on a 2xLP vinyl. Here, we have the entirety of OFK's first EP, written and produced by Luna Shadows and Thom Powers (of The Naked and Famous). Additionally, we have included art prints for each OFK single, featuring illustrations that capture the vibe of the interactive music videos characteristic of the game.
But wait - there's even more powerpop! We have also included EXCLUSIVE acoustic tracks from OFK that you can only hear on wax. It's OFK, AFK, like you've never heard before.
Hahah. You thought that was it, but there are still more goodies. This 2xLP also contains selected tracks from the original score of We Are OFK, created by Omniboi with Nicole Brady and Wldr Ensemble. These songs make up the soundtrack to OFK's twenty-something misadventures, and are the perfect musical accompaniment for relaxing or getting to work and accomplishing some serious creative tasks.
All of this is packaged in a hip 'n' funky album cover by the illustrious Naf, featuring a beautiful pastel night landscape on a sturdy gatefold jacket that will make you dream of the Los Angeles skyline.
