All funds raised will be donated to the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France. Faced with the pandemic currently affecting the planet, women and men from all walks of life are multiplying acts of solidarity toward those fighting on the front line. In this spirit, a collective of supportive artists bringing together some of the biggest names on the French classical scene (Gautier Capuçon, Natalie Dessay, Alexandre Tharaud, Philippe Jaroussky, Yvan Cassar, Bertrand Chamayou, Nemanja Radulovic, Karine Deshayes, Hugues Borsarello, Edgar Moreau, Franck Braley, Lise Berthaud, Nicolas Dautricourt, Laure Favre-Kahn, Laurent Naouri, David Moreau, Mathieu Martin, Neima Naouri, Tom, Naouri and Rhiannon Mothersele) came together to carry out, in concert, a charitable action in support of healthcare and hospital staff. Thus, musicians, writers, illustrators, sound engineers, historians, all contributed their voluntary support to this album: 'Symphonie pour la vie', the funds from which will be donated in full to the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris - Hôpitaux de France. In early April 2020, in solidarity but in isolation, the performers crossed paths, taking turns one after another at the Riffx studio at La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt, specially arranged in a unique configuration with ephemeral architecture. The artists were able, from a distance, to combine their talents in the strictest respect of health and safety measures. Unpublished illustrations by the artist Plantu.
