Steven Spielberg Presents : Animaniacs

Description

Animaniacs was a landmark moment in television history, a truly complete animated variety show reaching back to the early days of American cartoons, with short sketches, a sharp satirical wit, and, of course, ridiculously catchy tunes. Impressively orchestrated and lyrical, music was part of Animaniacs' core identity from the very beginning of the show. Original songs were woven into the series' DNA and gave it its signature tone—sometimes educational, often irreverent, and always, always jaw-droppingly hilarious. It's surprising that this classic music was never compiled on vinyl. At iam8bit, we're teaming up with our friends at WaterTower Music to fix that. Here is... Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs (Soundtrack from the Original Series) Vinyl Soundtrack! Series classics like "Yakko's World," as well as satires like "I Am the Very Model of A Cartoon Individual," are all represented here, performed by the Animaniacs themselves and presented in all their glory on classic black vinyl. But what would Animaniacs be without the cel-tacular cartoons inspired by the golden age? We enlisted an absolutely prolific cabal of former iconic Animaniacs animators, both old and new: Character designer Dan Haskett, who worked on classics like Scooby-Doo! and Looney Tunes, storyboard artist Tony Craig, who notably worked on Ben 10 and House of Mouse, and Roman Laney, who helped create El Tigre, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, and many more. These are giants of American animation, and we humbly present their creations. To ensure absolute historical perfection, the entire project was also creatively directed by cartoon expert and executive producer of the Animaniacs revival series, Gabe Swarr. This is a totally wackadoo Animaniacs vinyl soundtrack (that's the product name!)! And that, my friends, is the facts.
