Stax Revue: Live In '65!

Description

In August 1965, amid social unrest, the legendary soul label Stax organized two nights at the 5-4 Ballroom in Los Angeles, featuring, among others, Rufus Thomas, Booker T, William Bell, and Carla Thomas. These concerts had first been released in 1991. Titled Stax Revue:Live in '65, this expanded new edition includes additional tracks captured at the Club Paradise in Memphis and has been remastered by Joe Tarantino.
