Space Funk 2 : Afro Futurist Electro Funk in Space 1976-84

Description

Embarquez pour un nouveau voyage intergalactique dans l'espace « Space Funk 2 » !
The second collection of twisted hyperspatial electro/funk from Soul Jazz Records, "Space Funk 2: Afro Futurist Electro Funk in Space 1976-84", continues its intergalactic journey. It features rarities and obscurities of space funk and electro, all released on small independent American labels in the late 1970s and 1980s. Among the artists on this album are Alien Starr, Bobby Demo, Maggatron, Mid-City Crew, Tribe, Junie, Rich Cason and the Galactic Orchestra, and many other intergalactic space warriors! The album comes with a stunning deluxe cover featuring radical African American model Pat Evans, who adorned many album covers for The Ohio Players in the 1970s. The space shuttle program has been modified, there is no star wars - there are only happy electro folks in space! The reactors are responding, the boosters are activating, the countdown has begun. It's the bionic funk of the space age, programmed to make you dance!
