The Summer Night Concert 2023 of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is the largest annual classical open-air concert in the world, taking place in the magical setting of the baroque park of Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna (concert date: June 08, 2023).This year, the SNC exclusively features popular melodies by French composers, including works by Bizet and Ravel, Berlioz, Saint-Saëns and Gounod.The soloist on the evening's program will be the Latvian mezzo-soprano Elina Garanca, who will perform the famous Habanera from Bizet's opera Carmen, "Mon cœur s'ouvre à ta voix" by Camille Saint-Saëns (Samson and Delilah) and "O ma lyre immortelle" from Gounod's opera Sapho.Maestro Nézet-Séguin and soprano Elina Garanca will make their debuts at the Summer Night Concert.The concert is broadcast on television and radio in more than 60 countries!
