Winner of the Best British Game and Best Family Game awards at the British Academy Games Awards 2021, the typically English charm of Sackboy largely comes from its warm and welcoming aesthetic - and, above all, its equally warm and welcoming soundtrack (which was also nominated for a BAFTA for Best Music!). The soundtrack of Sackboy is an engaging and whimsical sonic odyssey, filled from start to finish with delightful covers and charming original compositions. It truly deserves to be released on vinyl, which is why iam8bit is honored to partner with Sony Interactive Entertainment to immortalize it here for you. Here is the double LP of Sackboy: A Big Adventure. On its two discs, pressed on a groovy-looking Dreamer Orb vinyl, you will find twenty tracks, a sample of Sackboy's greatest hits, from the main theme to "The Final Showdown" and much more. The album cover is also worth a look: illustrator Haley bbanditt Wakefield has designed (you guessed it?) a cover that captures Sackboy's fearless attitude, this little guy in a vast world. Inside, you will find a clever collage that actually forms a musical score taking the shape of the game's recurring musical motif. It's a lovely way to highlight how inseparable music is from Sackboy's solo adventure.
