Rumble In Washington is a tribute to the Parisian felines, WASHINGTON DEAD CATS. Fourteen bands from all musical horizons, from hardcore punk to rockabilly and brass bands, pay tribute to their thirty-year career by covering representative tracks from their extensive discography (10 albums). Featured artists include: Les Fatals Picards, Tagada Jones, Russian Surf music champions Messer Chups, Punks Brassen's Not Dead and Garage Lopez, Garage kings Brain Eaters, Rikkha or Palavas Surfers, Rockabilly acts No Hit Makers or Lord Fester (comic book artist Fred Beltran), Psychobilly bands Astro Zombies, Atomics Rotors or Manor Freak, and the boisterous brass band No Water Please (because there are brass instruments in the "WASH" and brass bands appreciate that too). The diversity of "WASH"'s musical influences allowed for a gathering of bands from different musical backgrounds, resulting in a joyfully eclectic and loudly rock'n'roll outcome. All packaged with care by an original illustration by Cromwell, a renowned comic book artist considered one of the leaders of a new school of comic strips, cleverly blending inhabited and innovative graphics.
