Trojan Records Jamaica, abbreviated TRJ, is a unique project founded by musician and producer Zak Starkey (The Who, Oasis) and his partner, Australian musician, artist, and producer Sharna Sshh Liguz, whose slogan Out of Many, One Music, has long brought together many active artists. This is the first time that non-island artists have created a record label and flagship studio here and, more importantly, developed their own sound in the spirit of 'Muscle Shoals', 'Compass Point', and 'Studio One', while mixing outdated sounds with elements of blues to give them their own stamp. The first release, 'Red, Gold, Green & Blue', showcases the identity and scope of the brand. The participation of the excellent drummer from the rhythm section Sly Dunbar and bassist Robbie Shakespeare is one of the key moments of this record. Everyone involved contributed ideas and helped with track selection. The Grammy-winning DJ and musician, Wayne Jobson, supported the artistic selection. When you hear 'Red, Gold, Green & Blue', it's like seeing an old friend in a new light. The familiar blues numbers show a completely different side and unexpected beauty in these unusual versions.
