On May 27, 1990, RAPATTITUDE was released, the very first compilation of French Rap.
The compilation brought together a series of young urban artists, most of whom had not yet released an album or a single. Among them were Assassin, Tonton David, Suprême NTM, E.J.M., Saliha, and Daddy Yod.
Since then, some of them have come a long way, and French rap with them.
The Hip Hop movement, and rap music in particular, then firmly established itself in France to become a real phenomenon, a popular culture in its own right.
For many, RAPATTITUDE will forever remain the founding act of professional Made in France rap.
