That’s why iam8bit sees no better way to celebrate this historic milestone of thirty years than with a compilation album of the greatest hits of Persona. But this is not just a simple "best-of" album; we have partnered with our friends at Atlus to produce something that is truly worthy of the name Persona, a one-of-a-kind tribute to one of the most legendary franchises in video game history. Here is the Persona 30th Anniversary jazz album, a single-disc compilation brimming with the greatest tracks from Persona, reimagined by the jazz geniuses The Blueshift Big Band. They have reinvented fan-favorite Persona tracks such as “Heaven,” “Last Surprise,” and, of course, “Aria of the Soul,” through their characteristic lens, both soulful and syncopated. For this special iam8bit edition, we pressed it on a beautiful 180-gram black vinyl for an exceptional listening experience. For the album cover, we enlisted Mark Borgions, an award-winning illustrator and friend of iam8bit, to envision a jazz band made up of the beloved characters from Persona. The result? A true gem that perfectly complements the entire iam8bit x Persona vinyl collection. It’s simply a must-have.
