Motor City

Description

Like the first volume, which was met with strong enthusiasm from Soul Music fans, the second installment features regional or little-known versions of masterpieces that made music history in the United States. From the early years of Little Stevie Wonder to the legendary Mr Postman by the Marvelletes, via the first steps of Mary Wells and the gems of Lamont Dozier and Barette Strong, immerse yourself in this abundance of Early Soul sounds and step into the legend. Compiled by Maitre Madj (Ex Assassin Production), these tracks saw the mythical Detroit label Motown take shape through an astonishing number of 45s. This patchwork of finely chosen tracks collides on these vinyl records, with artwork and logos faithfully placed on the cover, as if we were back at the beginning of the 60s.
