Lies of P: Overture takes you back in time in the excellent Soulslike from Neowiz, immersing players in the city of Krat before it was struck by disaster. This prequel DLC thus expands the setting and aesthetic of the base game, imagining a beautiful yet haunting Belle Époque city on the brink of ruin. Similarly, the music of Overture explores a soundscape that, compared to that of its predecessor, is less solitary, more vibrant, but ultimately remains grim and evocative. As you guide Geppetto's puppet through unique spaces such as a zoo and a carnival, you will hear the music from Round8 Studio, different from anything found in the base game. iam8bit is pleased to collaborate with Neowiz to bring you this new chapter of Lies of P on vinyl. Here is the Lies of P: Overture 3xLP, a mega box set of three records that encompasses the entire auditory journey of Overture. It is pressed on black, gold, and red vinyl, each with its own unique central label reflecting the collectible records found in the game world: Nightmare & Survivor for the black vinyl, Lisrim and The Clear Blue Sky for the gold, and Survivor (red) and The Stargazer for the red. It is our nod to the importance of music in the Lies of P experience as a whole. For the album cover, Dan Zollinger created a piece that perfectly complements his illustration for the original 3xLP of Lies of P. The result is a stunning pictorial packaging that recalls the late 19th-century inspirations that make the game itself such a masterpiece.
