Music by the great Michel Legrand: “We are two twin sisters...” or “We travel from town to town,” many of MICHEL LEGRAND’s songs from this musical film have gone down in history; all are etched in collective memory. This soundtrack was nominated for the Oscar for Best Original Score in 1969. Director JACQUES DEMY, with the musical complicity of the legendary MICHEL LEGRAND, created many masterpieces together such as “Les Parapluies de Cherbourg” and “Peau d’âne.” A film by the essential Jacques DEMY: With the adventures of Solange and Delphine, Catherine Deneuve and her sister Françoise Dorléac became icons as soon as “Les Demoiselles” was released in 1967.
