"In 2015, when the Hip Dozer label was launched, it was overwhelmed by the amount of talent still championing that old-school way of making beats and the incredible creativity circulating on the global scene. In a period when hip hop was evolving so much and pushing further and further (sometimes for the better but also for the worse), it became obvious for Hip Dozer to champion this rising scene of young beatmakers who were so attached to the roots of ""old-school"" beatmaking but always took it to another level. It has been 7 years now since the creation of Hip Dozer Records. This year, for the 7th anniversary compilation, the label has selected tracks from some of its favorite talents on the scene with artists like Saib, Flughand, Phoniks, Cookin Soul, SoulChef and Wun Two."
