The compilation "GANJA ANTHEMS" is the 18th project from the Irie Ites Records label. For this, the label delved into its catalog to release the best tracks paying homage to this plant. While not wanting to fall into clichés, it's clear that this theme is an integral part of Reggae culture. Also called "Weed," "High Grade," "Brain Food," or "Healing of The Nation," Ganja is one of the favorite themes of artists who each appropriate it in their own way, thus offering their own anthems. Comprising 16 tracks including the hits "High Grade" by Turbulence and Spectacular, "Bun Di Ganja" by Chezidek, "Straight to my heart" by Perfect Giddimani, "Smoke My Herbz" by Sizzla, "Please Mr Officer" by Chezidek and Lorenzo, as well as 3 unreleased tracks "Weedman Look Out" by Sugar Roy & Conrad Crystal on a revisited Studio One version, "Healing of the nation" by Peetah Morgan whose version is composed by the Roots Radics, and "More Herb" by Spectacular remixed by Russ D, this project will appeal to all Reggae fans.
