Over the past two years, the FLEE label has been working on its first issue titled "Benga Music-A Signature Genre from Kenya". Conceived as an attempt to document a timeless Kenyan musical genre - benga - this issue is also a visual and sonic tribute to the heritage of East African music. Approaching this musical genre with a fresh and innovative perspective, the first version of FLEE presents a vinyl compilation and a printed journal.
