Eastward is a game defined by its contrasts, a story where hope is found even on the brink of total despair, told through a retro aesthetic and a decidedly modern and unexpected narrative. It is therefore not surprising that composer Joel Corelitz has created an electric soundtrack for the adventure RPG from Pixpil and Chucklefish. It is a love letter to the history of video game music, confidently dancing between genres, moods, and themes while weaving a complete portrait of the game's unique world.
Today, Iam8bit is proud to present this original soundtrack on vinyl, with artwork by Laura Brinkerhoff. This standard edition is presented on a black 2xLP vinyl, with 5 hours of music. It’s a delicious platter, from start to finish.
