Discovering the lullabies of Ukraine, magical polyphonies!20 nursery rhymes and lullabies from Ukraine to dive into the musical culture of this country. This new album "Comptines du monde" reveals all the beauty of Ukrainian folk singing. This singing can be ritual (Christmas, celebration of the seasons) or non-ritual (historical or political themes, lullabies, finger games, etc.), but it is always moving, alternately joyful or sensitive. It reflects the daily life of the Ukrainian people, their aesthetics and their worldview. The collecting was carried out by Nathalie Soussana over several months among Ukrainian refugees in France, Germany and Poland.
