Coffret California vol. 2 by G. Lang - from Venice Beach to Joshua Tree

Description

Here is volume 2 of the best of West Coast Music presented by Georges Lang. On air for more than 45 years, Georges Lang discovered the west coast of the United States in the early 70s. Love at first sight! Since then, the famous “California Sound” has always fueled his music programming. It was therefore only natural that he would decide to bring together many gems for this box set. In total, 77 laidback tracks performed by artists evoking California past and present: The Doors, The Beach Boys, The Mamas & the Papas, Janis Joplin, J.J. Cale, Bob Dylan & the Band, The Byrds, James Taylor, Gram Parsons, Donal Fagen, Grateful Dead, Sheryl Crow, Bill Labounty, Diana Krall, Michael Bublé, Dylan Leblanc...Includes a 20-page booklet with photos and notes by Georges Lang.
