The Locket is the meeting of two masters of art, Jack Steadman, frontman of Bombay Bicycle Club, and Barney Artist, rapper, composer with Jazz-infused Hip Hop. This 10-track opus is a collaborative project designed to be listened to in a group, to create cohesion among people, a celebration of music. A sunny, retro-futuristic record that must be listened to urgently! They create music full of hope in a time troubled by the global pandemic. The album title echoes happier times: 'We put a locket around our neck to remember memories that protect us, we never forget to wear it.' As a reminder of the need to focus on the positive in the face of adversity. This record could not have been released at a more opportune time.
