MOURN THE LIGHT was formed in early 2018 by Dwayne Eldredge, also co-founder of the New England Stoner And Doom Festival. Driven by his passion for doom metal and aggressive power metal, Dwayne was determined to create a band capable of conveying an optimistic message despite the prevailing despair. Following the success of their first EP "Weight Of The World," released in 2019, and a tour across the United States and Canada, MOURN THE LIGHT returned to the studio to record their debut album. Titled "Suffer, Then We're Gone," the band's first album showcases a plethora of influences while remaining deeply personal.
