Three years after his last album I Need Space, Mounika is back in his favorite playground: that of electronic music, which has sparked his curiosity since his beginnings. Here he is ready to unveil "Don’t Look At Me," a new opus that takes us, too, but by different paths, into his unique universe.
Recorded during the lockdown in the intimacy of his home studio, the French artist gradually reveals another facet of his artistic personality, more raw and assertive, while not completely neglecting the fluffy sounds already offered on tracks like "Cut My Hair" (diamond single) or "Tender Love" (gold single). We thus discover sensitive compositions, always inspired by his love for trip-hop, piano, and the artists who shaped his musical culture during his youth: Moby, Ratatat, Air, or Bonobo.
