The new mini-album from the Italian legends of Black Metal, including a cover of “Nightmare Be Thy Name” by Mercyful Fate. The cult band Mortuary Drape formed in Italy in 1986 as a trio, featuring the only remaining member, the band’s founder and visionary Wildness Perversion. Combining early influences from bands such as Mercyful Fate and Celtic Frost, Mortuary Drape developed its own unique style, defining itself as black occult metal. “Wisdom - Vibration - Repent” is the band’s new mini-album, which includes five tracks of occultism, philosophy and blasphemy, as well as a powerful cover of the Mercyful Fate track, “Nightmare Be Thy Name”. Blending the best elements of classic metal with sometimes darker influences in a venomous concoction of occult misanthropy, the Italian legends once again deliver their old school black metal in their signature melodic style.
