NEW STUDIO ALBUM FROM NORWAY'S NEW GENERATION BLACK METAL LEADERS After "Ermittens Dal," released in 2017 on Peaceville Records, MORK is back with an even darker and more intense Black Metal album: "Det Svarte Juv," consisting of 10 tracks. "Det Svarte Juv" is cold, atmospheric, raw, and captivating all at once. Written, performed, and produced by Thomas Eriksen, it was recorded at Enormous Door, the same studio as the legendary metal band Darkthrone. This album marks a new stage for the band, taking the listener on a dark and masterful sonic journey. Leader Thomas Eriksen comments: "The album was written during the darkest period of my life in 2017 when a succession of tragedies and misfortunes befell me. The creation process of this album is filled with sadness, hatred, anger, pain, but also strength and self-confidence [...] There are no guests on this album. My moods and states of mind are my only inspirations." As with Mork's previous albums, the music of "Det Svarte Juv" is varied. It features classic Blast-Beat riffs, Black'N Roll Doom, and melancholic melodies. "Det Svarte Juv" is pure and sincere, free from any external influences.
