Detroit psych-rock band Moonwalks’ third studio album, "Western Mystery Tradition", was inspired by the 2019 polar vortex isolation in the northern US, which made outdoor life virtually impossible. Recorded at the reportedly haunted Masonic Temple, it marks a slight departure from the band’s DIY psych-rock origins, being more polished and stable, thanks to the production of Jonah Swilley of Mattiel.
