The origins of MONTY PICON date back to the summer of 2006, when nine musicians from Rennes decided to form a rock collective with the flair of a brass band, aiming to play anywhere, anytime, but not just any way... A resolutely rock rhythmic combo, a heavy brass section reminiscent of a peplum, and a banjo with a hint of the western. This is the arsenal that has been tirelessly roaming from Brest to Berlin, passing through Bayonne and Brussels for thirteen years... Three albums, one Live, one Best Of, and a new album currently in the works. Nearly 20,000 records sold and over 1,000 shows, at festivals, in the streets, and in café-concerts. New album, new show, and still the same wild fervor. Soul, heart, electricity, guitars, brass, and piston. 2019 is already shaping up to be a year of intoxication and sweat.
