Loundo (Un jour)

Description

For several years now, his name has been buzzing in conversations among discerning guitarists and lovers of African music: Moh! Kouyaté. And don’t forget the exclamation mark! Moh, like Modjigui, his grandfather, guardian of tradition and whose name means “hope of man.” Moh! like the guitarist with a generous Manding groove, based in Paris since 2007 and never stingy with a jam session or a concert. Moh! Kouyaté, a griot and son of a griot, one foot in tradition, the other in contemporary music, who chose music to make people and continents dance. He has heated up the nights of Conakry, paid his respects at the grave of bluesman Robert Johnson, and toured Europe. Today, Moh! Kouyaté finally presents his first album. Loundo, “one day,” rich with all these experiences. That day has arrived, and it is Moh! Kouyaté’s!
