UFO fans, attention! Anyone who feared over the past two years that UFO's singer, Phil Mogg, one of the most influential rock singers in the world, would completely disappear from the scene after his band's disbandment, in addition to his health issues, has happily been mistaken. After a brief pause to catch his creative breath, the British musician with the distinctive voice is ready to present his latest album, 'Moggs Motel', which he composed with Tony Newton (bass and keyboards) from the band Voodoo Six, who had previously toured with UFO, and his long-time associate Neil Carter (guitar, keyboards, vocals). The album was recorded at Iron Maiden's Steve Harris studio in Essex, UK. In the studio, the band was joined by Joe Lazarus (drums) and Tommy Gentry (guitar) to complete the lineup. The twelve timeless songs on the album show that Mogg in 2024 has lost none of his artistic charisma, unique expressive voice, and love for unbridled creativity. 'Moggs Motel' will be available on Steamhammer/SPV starting September 6, 2024, on CD, vinyl LP, and digital download. Two singles featuring music videos will be released as a teaser before the album hits physical and digital stores: the album opener "Apple Pie" will be released on June 28, 2024, followed by "Sunny Side Of Heaven" on August 16, 2024.
