The band worked with the same team responsible for the production of the 2021 re-recordings of "Misanthrope Immortel." A nostalgic throwback to the 90s Avant-Garde Doom Death era. MISANTHROPE fans have been eagerly requesting this album! The two tracks, never recorded before, dating back to the "Deus Puerilis" and "Miracles: Totem Taboo" era, are sure to delight the builders of MISANTHROPE. Additionally, this album features new musical arrangements by Anthony Scemama, Jean-Jacques Moréac, and Gaël Féret. The lyrics by S.A.S de L’Argillière are available for the first time in their complete version, including original and unreleased verses, all sung entirely in French for the first time. "Les Déclinistes" is the studio album that celebrates the 34th anniversary of the French band, MISANTHROPE, and will be released on Holy Records in 2023. The album is a selection of re-recorded classics drawn from the early demos and albums from 1990 to 1997, from "Hater of Mankind" to "Visionnaire." Seven years of work. "Les Déclinistes" was recorded and produced by Misanthrope at Studio Ænigma in France from 2015 to 2021, then mixed and mastered by Frédéric Gervais at Studio Henosis in France from 2021 to 2022.
