Moral hygiene

Description

Once again inspired by the current geopolitical situation in the world, Ministry could have fallen into the easy trap of delivering a full-throttle industrial metal record while leaving any surprise behind. That is not the case! Moral Hygiene turns out to be a display of controlled violence that is far from gratuitous. As Jourgensen watched the chaos unfolding across the world at the height of a global pandemic and the tensions arising from one of the most important elections in American history, he seized the opportunity to write his 15th studio album, following AmeriKKKant, released in 2018. Moral Hygiene covers the full range of current dilemmas facing humanity, from the far-reaching impact of COVID-19 to the inevitable effects of climate change. Musically highly effective, Moral Hygiene expresses an undiminished desire to fight.
