After Minibus (Formulette) and Ma famille en papier (Victorie/Braques), the band Minibus is recording their third album with Victorie Music, Bal à fond. Accompanied by a new show of the same name, this new album's main mission will be to make our feet, hands, and ears dance around the world. African dance (Balafon, Le loup), mariachi atmosphere (Petit morceau), oriental gypsy swing with an adaptation of the traditional Ya Rayah (L’oiseau de nuit), a dive into the Caribbean Sea (Ce que les dauphins font), a trance from Vladivostok (Dans la forêt), and even a Little Chinese Ball to the sound of bells. Many of these songs were composed from texts written with schoolchildren, whom Minibus regularly visits to organize writing workshops, sometimes even with very young children. Nature, both animal and plant, the environment, and the discovery of the world are highlighted, and the poetry of the lyrics is more than ever a trademark of the group.
