Music from the film by Louis Malle. A film and a score that have now become legendary. Miles Davis's first music for cinema is splendid. It was recorded in two days. The musicians followed Miles Davis's instructions and improvised on the images. The B side contains 6 tracks that were not used for the film, but which remain beautiful. "... I was a jazz freak... the music of Elevator is unique. It's one of the rare film scores that were entirely improvised...
