Self-taught, when she started playing bass, the desire to compose and perform on stage quickly led her to create this one-woman band, where bass and voice are the foundations of raw, sincere, deeply felt music. Accompanied by a looper, she writes and performs alone, quickly making her way onto French stages, opening for Jeanne Added, Shannon Wright...Without any intention of belonging to a particular genre, Miët's music is naturally built around this multi-sound bass, which moves through a plethora of effects pedals and sonic experiments. Driven by an electric energy, in concert the bass loops follow one another, saturated, frantic, the tense, on-edge performances become fierce and exhilarated. But it is the ambivalence between strength and fragility that also characterizes Miët's music.
