This unifying title was the ideal introduction to Michel Fugain's first album with the troupe of young singers, dancers and musicians who would accompany him until 1977. It was with this collective, imbued with the spirit of May '68, that he achieved his greatest successes. *Une belle histoire* was the first hit. Co-written to order by Pierre Delanoë and composed by the singer, it became the fresh, French anthem of a beatnik generation dreaming of emancipation and freedom. *Fais comme l'oiseau*, another unsinkable creation... is a song by Antônio Carlos & Jocafi, heard by Fugain during a stay in Brazil. Also found on this album is *Allez bouge-toi*, a track originally chosen to be the A-side of a 45 rpm single whose B-side was... *Une belle histoire*. A classic!
