Concertos pour deux pianos Œuvre de chambre

Description

Alexei Lubimov is one of the most respected pianists of his generation, particularly for his exploration of rare repertoires on period instruments. Olga Pashchenko is his disciple and a "rising star" harpsichordist/fortepianist of the new generation. Together, accompanied by the musicians of the Finnish Baroque Orchestra, they embark on a journey to discover the Czech composer Jan Ladislav Dussek (1760-1812) and produce the first world recordings on period instruments of his Concerto for Two Pianos and his Notturno concertant... Considered "romantic" ahead of his time, Dussek created an original style of piano music, characterized by its harmonic richness and intense emotional expressiveness.
