Description

Melissa Weikart, a Franco-American musician, develops a deep relationship with her piano, the result of a classical background enriched by jazz, 1970s folk pop, and improvisation. Both solo and as part of the duo Béatrice Melissa, she explores a unique pop, blending intimate songs, experimental textures, and dreamlike atmospheres. Awarded at the Nancy Jazz Pulsations in 2022 and at the National Jazz Competition of La Défense in 2023, Contact immerses us in the intimate and the subconscious, while seeking to create a deep connection with the listener.
