Bat Out Of Hell

Description

Meat Loaf began his career in the 70s, appearing in the musicals "Hair" and the outrageous "Rocky Horror Picture Show." His meeting with Jim Steinman, the famous songwriter, allowed him to launch his solo career and develop an astonishing musical style, a baroque blend of lyrical opera and rock, by releasing the album "Bat Out of Hell" in 1977, which remained in the British charts for 400 consecutive weeks and on the American hit parade for 88 weeks, becoming one of the best-selling rock albums of the decade: 15 million albums sold in the USA alone. After a period dedicated to cinema, Meat Loaf returned with several albums, including the famous "Midnight At The Lost And Found" and "Bat Out Of Hell II - Back Into Hell," whose combined sales with the first installment of this series have exceeded 45 million copies worldwide.
