Description
After Songs from Before and The Blue Notebooks, Deutsche Grammophon reissues the third album in Max Richter's discography, "INFRA", on CD and vinyl. Composed for piano, electronics, and string quartet, INFRA is an extension of the 25-minute piece written for choreographer Wayne McGregor and artist Julian Opie. The ballet tells the story of the attacks that took place in London on July 7, 2005. Max Richter explains: 'This music speaks of the journey but it is also a meditation on the political state of London at that time and the tragedies that affected the city.
