Mattiel, the Atlanta duo composed of Mattiel Brown and Jonah Swilley, is back with their third album titled Georgia Gothic, which will be released on March 18, 2022, via Heavenly Recordings/[PIAS]! Enriched by the time spent together on the road touring for the first two albums, it is this new sense of intimacy between the members of Mattiel that allowed the writing of Georgia Gothic - not as two separate musicians, but rather as a single creative entity. This translates into an electric synergy between the lyrics and music of Georgia Gothic: the vivid shock of Brown's lyricism collides with the sweetness of Swilley's instrumentation.
